A Blue Cast

That is what William will be wearing for 3 weeks.

He took a tumble down the stairs yesterday evening. He probably fell down about 4 steps, carpeted. He cried for a little bit but then seemed fine. He slept through the night. He woke up this morning and we went about our business like any other day. He was in the playroom playing and he fell forward and had to catch himself with his hands in front of him. He cried in pain and held his arm, I knew it was broke. I called his pediatrician and they told me to take him to the ER, so I did. They did x-rays and confirmed that his arm was slightly broken, not a bad break but a break nonetheless.

He will have to wear the cast for 3 weeks and then he will be in a brace for a week or two after that. The cast is water proof, thank goodness. He seems to be tolerating the cast well. But I am sure that will change.

Awww man! You wouldn't think such a fall would break a bone. I'm glad he seems to be accepting it well and isn't in a lot of pain. Cute little guy with the sippy cup dangling from his mouth! Sylvie does that too.

Poor buggar. I'm sure he'll do fine and that it won't slow him down much.

Did I tell you that Cate refers to Will as "The Wrestler?" At the 2008 reunion, we both remember will tackling whatever and whomever was in his path!

AAaawww Myssie! Such sad news. It broke my heart. I'm glad to hear that Will is tolerating it. 3 weeks seems short (which is good) but still, poor Will!
Give hugs and kisses from me. xoxoxoxo

OMG! He was doing so well on the stairs last i seen him, but we all know that any of us have issues with stairs sometime in our lives. LOL I know I have had a few myself. Tell Will I miss him and I am sorry he got a boo boo. Kids are fast healers, thank goodness!
