The last hour...

Lets recap the last hour...

I had to sneak Mr. Cow away from Will so that I could wash him.

Forty-five minutes later, I gave Mr. Cow back to Will and all was happy with the world.

Fifteen minutes later, Will hands me Mr. Cow and he is dripping with water. He had put Cow in the dog's water bowl.

So back into the washer.

Sometimes it feels like groundhog's day around here.

Snow Day!

Caroline hasn't had school this week because of the weather. We finally got enough snow to play in and she had a ball.

She made snow angels...

She gave Buster some excerise by running around the yard...

Proof that he really does try to herd...

Then she sat in the snow to build a fort...

She was getting thirsty and needed a juice box...

She played so hard and had such a good time. She was exhausted when she came in.

Wordless Wednesday...with a few words!

So we know that Mr. Cow likes to go swimming in the toilet but this is something new, something bigger, something better. Trucks like to go swimming too!!

It has been said that children with RTS love water, all water, any water. I would have to agree, but this toilet fascination is just gross!

Mommy and Me Night 2009

When we arrived school I dropped Caroline off in her classroom and I went upstairs to the Chapel. All of the kids came up together with their class. When the kids entered the Chapel they were all waving and saying Hi Mom! It was so cute to see all of the kids so excited about singing their songs for all of the Mommas.
They sang several songs. Some of the songs they signed too.
After the kids sang their songs we went back to the classroom and did a craft together. We made a handprint flower with a little poem with it. After craft time we went and had a snack.
During our snack I was able to talk with Caroline's friend Savanna's Mom. The girls have so much fun together, we are planning another playdate soon.
As we were putting on our coats, Caroline wanted a picture of her and Mrs. Cathy, her teacher. She really enjoys being in Mrs. Cathy's class and I really think that Mrs. Cathy is preparing them for Kindergarten.

Picturepalooza!!!

Here are some pictures that I found while downloading from my SD card. Enjoy the picturepalooza today!!

Ruthie at her 1st birthday party...

I can't believe that she is one already, apparently she was surprised about it too!

Will looking handsome.

Aunt Teresa (Josh's sister) and Caroline. Awwww.

Again, Will looking cute.

Caroline and Will hanging out.

Caroline and Will watching it snow.

The picture quality just stinks on this one but it says so much.
My girl...

Our dog Buster looking all sweet and innocent.
And then he reminds why he drives me nuts. Makes me want to hurl every time!!

Bella

Bella, a RTSweetie, went to heaven to be with our Heavenly Father last night. Bella would have turned 2 in February. Bella was a fighter, a strong beautiful little angel. You can read more about Bella on Frankie's blog. Frankie and Bella were close friends and hung out quite often.

Please keep Bella, Monica (Bella's Mommy) and the rest of her family in your prayers.

In memory of Bella Reign Guerra February 16, 2007 - January 25, 2009, may you rest in peace you sweet little girl.

Random things

I had to take Will to the pediatrician today to check his ears. It was a follow up for his ear infection that he had a few weeks back. The ears checked out fine. But I must tell you this...Will hates it when the doctor has to look in his ears. He usually fights, kicks and cries. Today, Mr. Cow had his ears checked first and then it was Will's turn. Will sat like a champ and didn't cry. He didn't even move while the doctor was looking. I couldn't believe it. Mr. Cow will be going first from now on.

Why do parents think that it is okay to not have their child in a car seat while driving? It just is not safe and last time I checked it is against the law!!

We are trying to sell our house. We are wanting to move to St. Peters to be closer to Josh's work so that he doesn't have to spend 2 hours on the road each day. It would just be better for our family. Well, we were supposed to show the house today. The realtor called last night at 8pm to tell us about the showing. Josh and I ran around the house at break-neck speed trying to get everything cleaned, put away and presentable for the showing only to have the showing cancelled at the last minute. So frustrating! This is the second time this week that a showing has been cancelled at the last minute. I will be glad when this is over.

Caroline's school had Mommy and Me night last night. I will be posting pictures soon! It was super stupid cute!

Buster tries to herd the kids when they are playing. He nips at their ankles, never bites. It drives me nuts...but he really can't help it, it is what he is bred to do.

The kids that wait for the school bus in front of our house keep taking the fliers out of the box on the "For Sale" sign. Grrr....

There is a red car that blows through the stop sign by our house every day. And when I say "blows" through it I mean, driving about 40 miles per hour in a neighborhood with children. The speed limit is 25. I really want to video tape him doing it and turn it in to the police but I don't feel like it, it would require too much work. Should I call the police? What would they do...hold a steak out?? Yeah, right.

Buster, the dog, the dog that herds my children, yep that one! He can also open and close the screen door (it is a sliding door). When he wants to come in, he will sling the door. He pushs it with his nose. It flies back and forth and makes an awfully loud noise and it drives me nuts. Are you noticing a trend here...the dog drives me nuts!

Every time I ask Caroline how much does she love her Momma, she replies "Ten thousand eighty-one!!" Every. Single. Time. Gosh, I love her!
