Is He a DJ?

William’s favorite show is Yo Gabba Gabba.  For those of you lucky enough to not have to watch this cartoon; it is a really crazy cartoon with lots of singing and dancing.  The main character on the show is DJ Lance Rock.  He is a bit on the creepy side, but William thinks he is funny.  William likes him because he dances like a goof-ball and looks ridiculous.  I present to you DJ Lance…

I know, right??!!

Well, before Halloween I was shopping and I found a toy that I thought William might like.  I brought it home thinking that he would love it and instantly want to play with it all day long and never put it down.  I was wrong.  He hated it.  He didn’t even want to touch it.  But he was okay if Josh, Caroline or I played with it.  He just didn’t want anything to do with it.

So I put the toy up and just chalked it up to $10 down the drain but then the other day William had a change of heart.  He was watching his beloved Yo Gabba Gabba  after he got off of the school bus and I was in the kitchen making him his lunch.  I turned around and saw this…

His name is William and he likes to dance!!!

Like so many children with RTS, William loves his books!

 

His favorites are his Thomas the Tank Engine books or Backyardigans.  But he does branch out and explore other books on occasion.

Sledding

We had a white Christmas here in the Midwest.  The first one since 2005.  It was beautiful, but to be honest…I was glad to see it gone a few days later!

We went to Josh’s parents house the Sunday after Christmas to celebrate with them and everyone brought their snowsuits.  Caroline had never been sledding before and it is safe to say that she loved it!

Caroline and James (cousin) had a great time riding the sled down the hill together.  The also enjoyed racing each other down.

Caroline and Josh went down the hill together too.  I was on camera duty since I couldn’t really go sledding.
